I believe in the power of relationships to heal and restore.  Our work will center around the relationships within the family.  We will define the relationships that we all want and work to reach that place together.  

My Approach to Counseling

For over eight years, I worked with teens in residential and school settings.  Now, in my private practice, I work with teens and their families in a collaborative effort to create healthy change. 

Despite what he or she may tell you, your teen needs you during this pivotal time in his or her development.  I will help you bridge the gap that separates so many teens from their parents by mediating and translating on behalf of your teen. By building a trusting relationship with your teen, I will help him or her to express feelings in healthy ways and work through obstacles that often get in the way of that communication. 

My hope is that you will walk away from your sessions feeling more connected to your teen and with less worry about your relationship.
