Counseling Services
I find that counseling is most meaningful as trust and connection is built between clients and the counselor. This process takes time, motivation, and realistic expectations. Some families find satisfactory results in as few as 5-6 sessions, while some need substantially more.
I offer a FREE 20 minute initial phone consultation prior to our first session. After we decide to collaborate, we will develop specific goals for counseling to meet your needs. This may include weekly bi-monthly, or monthly sessions, and may include individual and/or family counseling. 
Initial Consultation
Your initial counsultation session will last 50 minutes. This is not a counseling session, but rather an opportunity to discuss the issues that brought you to see me and to decide if we want to proceed with counseling. You can expect that I will meet with both the individual client and the family (if possible) during the consultation session.

Counseling Sessions
My counseling sessions last 50 minutes or 80 minutes. Based on your presenting issues and our goals for your family, I might meet with the family for the whole session or just your teen. We will agree on this during the previous session so that all needed members of the family can be present. A 50 minute session is $100 and an 80 minute session is $150.
